Limbix



Limbix, a VR platform that uses exposure therapy to help patients overcome mental health disorders. The company was looking to create a in-platform assessment tool that would help VR researchers better document and analyze their data. However, after our team interviewed users and understood the competitive landscape better, we discovered that there was no market need for this in-platform tool.
From our research, we discovered that creating this tool would be a costly endeavor that would have a low business impact, given that the market was already monopolized. Our research also revealed that there was a desire for Limbix to create a product that incorporates the monitoring of psychophysiological metrics or continuing to expand their VR content.

Limbix’s shifted their product direction away from a costly, ineffective endeavor and led them to redefine their business strategy for more meaningful ROI.
